Legal Requirements For Marriage
Download and complete the 'Notice of Intended Marriage' (Marriage Application Form) 4 weeks before the wedding date with the Registrar General. Make the check for $231 US payable to the Accountant General Hamilton, Bermuda, and mail to the Registrar Generals Office. Once the license has been issued it can be picked up at the Registrar's Office by you or a designated person. You then have three months to get married in Bermuda. All documents should be originals or certified originals. As an alternative to doing it yourself wedding coordinators at many resorts offer special wedding packages which include handling all the legal details.
